Back in April we shot across to the little Welsh town of Newquay to photograph Bill & Sandy on their wedding day. It was right around the time the weather change to sun, sun, sun and we made a decision to head up a few days earlier to capture the local area and everything that makes Newquay, Newquay. Let's just say it was a good decision.
We spent a couple of days exploring everything from fishing docks to beaches and were treated with perhaps the perfect weather for photos, come on just check out the images to the left and you can see what we are on about.
We were obviously there to photograph the awesome wedding of Bill & Sandy, which by the way was awesome! Unfortunately Bill & Sandy are both teachers and have requested that the photos be kept private, which we are cool with but we couldn't give up without posting a few of the photos of the area. It was simply stunning and something we absolutely had to show off.
One of the other reasons that we are putting together this post is that we are hoping to shoot another wedding over in Newquay, in fact the word desperation springs to mind. Getting to take Bride and Groom onto the beach or around the dock yard is killer and the photos look awesome. At least we think so anyway!
With every wedding we shoot we set out to capture and tell the unique story of the bride and groom. We like to think of ourselves as wedding story tellers and always try to think how our images can be pieced together to give the most complete picture of the wedding day.
We are Mike & Tom, two Cheshire wedding photographers that love travelling far and wide doing what we do, taking photos of people in love.
