Emma & Tom / Cheshire Wedding Photographers

08.01.2015

First of all lets start with how thankful we are for getting the opportunity to be part of Emma and Tom's super marquee wedding at Cawthorne Cricket Club. We first met them at their house when they told us exactly how they wanted their wedding photos to be, they were really keen on everyone just having a good time, not spending hours on group shots, just grabbing them when we can. As soon as they told us the plan for their big day we knew that this wedding would be right up our street! It by no means disappointed!

Emma started over at Midhope Lodge with Tom getting suited and booted at his mums house. When everyone was ready they headed over to St James Church in Midhopestones. Getting to photograph weddings in churches is something that we really enjoy and St James' is absolutely perfect for getting some great shots. This tiny little church managed to squeeze all 600 (lying) friends and family in allowing everyone to see Tom and Emma get hitched. After all the 'I Do's' and vows were said it was time to head over to Cawthorne to party.

Emma and Tom rented out a super marquee and despite the flash floods managed to spruce it up and make it look great. Once again perfect for some cracking speech photos, all that was needed was some good speeches. I think the photos probably show how good the speeches were...

One thing that was ever present throughout the day was how important friends and family were to the wedding. Emma's stunning dress was made by a friend from her parents village (Emma had a big input!) with the car and cake being provided by her Auntie and Uncle. Family friends also helped out with the afternoon tea and beautiful flowers. Everything just looked crazy good.

Every once in a while we head to wedding that we just can't get enough of and this wedding was definitely one of them. We hope you like the photos and just want to say a massive thank you for letting us photograph your big day!
